A Hostess Gift, White and Green

My friends Laura and Dale gave me a flight to New Hampshire to help paint their kitchen.  What a great experience.  Based on the emails and photos we exchanged ahead of time I bagged up a bunch of flowers in their colors.

I didn't know if there would be time to work on it because we kept busy socializing, eating out, going to meeting, working on the kitchen re-do and so on.  But then I found a little slot of time to arrange this centerpiece bouquet before leaving for the airport and flying home.

I made it to go on any vase.

 

In the guest room I found this candle and set the bouquet on top.  It's the right colors for the new kitchen paint color.

Available for custom order, this bridal bouquet has orange roses, white calla lilies, orchids, lily of the valley, green berries and dogwood. 

This bridal bouquet has also been sold.  It has gardenias, dendrobium orchids, curly fern, fern, hypericum berries and twigs.  Available as a custom order for rent or for purchase.

This bridal bouquet was custom made on request by Seattle Metropolitan Bride Magazine.  It was featured in their favorite wedding idea section a few years ago.  The bouquet has since been sold but is available as a custom order.

The bridal bouquet below has been sold.  It features soft pink ranunculas, stephanotis with pink crystals, pink hydrangea and white feathers.  Available for custom order.

Purple Centerpiece Display

Rustic Vintage Centerpiece Display

Friday I took a phone call from a June 2014 bride who wants a rustic, vintage theme.   Her centerpieces will be blush, copper, rose/gold and she especially likes twigs. The wedding will be at a local winery.

She will be renting ivory dishes with gold rim from Sandy's Party Rental store.  Table linens:  ivory cloth with creamy beige napkin.

Here are some ideas for centerpiece groupings. Each centerpiece is different.

Soft Pink Bridal Bouquet

Jennifer was a delightful bride.  She came in March to see about renting wedding flowers feeling cautious and unsure about having fake flowers at her wedding.  She wondered what people would think.  However, she was drawn in by the promise of having many more flowers than usual for the money spent. 

When we did the preliminary phone interview before she came I knew she would be interested in soft pink with plenty of ivory mixed in.  So I had some floral arrangements prepared for her to see when she arrived.  She wanted the hot pink celosia removed from the bridal bouquet. In the photo above you can see it without the deep pink.  Beautiful, don't you think?

Ten Inch Centerpiece is a collection of calla lilies, gardenias, orchids, roses,  hydrangea.  This arrangement may be purchased for $175.00 each or rents for $43.00 each.

 White spray bouquet is approx. 30 inches tall and 24 inches wide.  In the photo above two are displayed on a wrought iron arch back to back. Purchase for $147.00 each. Rental is $47.00 each.

The altar arrangement above is about 25 inches tall not including the vase.  There are options for the vase.  In this case it was displayed in a copper tub. Purchase: $988 or Rent: $157.00 

You may rent 36" garlands for a variety of uses including wrapping around the base of hurricane lanterns with candles, swags on the fronts of tables, around pillars, handrails, on pews, doors, arches.  The list goes on and on.  Purchase: $139.00 each or rent: $29.00 each.

Pew bouquets may be purchased for $59 each or rented for $12 each.
